Pesaro
Every year in the summer month of August, the Italian city of Pesaro honours its most famous son, Gioachino Rossini. ‘La mia musica fa fuore’ - he was proved right to this day, as his music is full of tempo and joie de vivre. Since 1980, the Rossini Opera Festival has presented itself as a great talent factory for the next generation of bel canto composers and, in addition to performing the famous works, also focuses on rediscovering the lesser-known compositions. Performances take place in the intimate, beautifully playful Teatro Rossini, built in 1637 and rebuilt several times to date, in the middle of the centro storico, as well as in the Auditorium Scavolini, which allows for larger stage constructions and images...The Marche region is also home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site with the nearby artistic jewel of Urbino, the beautiful beaches and the green hinterland. Enjoy not only the music, but also let yourself drift through this unspoilt region and discover the culinary delights of this area, just as Rossini once did, which the composer even had sent from his homeland to Paris.
Our customers’ reviews
L'année prochaine sont programmés Zelmira, Il Turco in Italia et l'Italiana in Algeri. J'espère que vous pourrez nous organiser un séjour semblable.

Ours music trip in Italy was terrific! Everything went well in terms of operas, hotels, and transportations. The performances at Pesaro were at the first rate. We were particularly delighted with a Japanese mezzo-soprano, Ms. Aya Wakizono, singing the title role Falliero. Macerata was also very charming medieval town with the impressive arena, which we found luckly adding to our itineary.
Thank you very much again for your support. Our journey on opera hopefully will cross with Euridice again soon.

La musique ne nous dépayse que pour mieux nous enraciner.
